AUSTIN, Texas — Amplify Snack Brands, the maker of SkinnyPop Popcorn and Pirate’s Booty, has released several new snacks.
The Austin, Texas-based company was set to show its new products at the Natural Products Expo West, which was postponed amid coronavirus concerns. Hundreds of companies that sell snacks in grocery and convenience stores were expected to attend.
Amplify, which Hershey, Pa.-based The Hershey Co. acquired in 2017, is a better-for-you snack company known for brands such as Oatmega and Krave.

SkinnyPop Chips are a popcorn snack in a new chip-shaped form. The snack is made with whole grains and no artificial ingredients. It is also non-GMO project verified, gluten-free, tree nut-free, dairy-free, vegan and kosher.
SkinnyPop Chips come in Sea Salt, BBQ and Cheddar & Sour Cream varieties.
SkinnyPop Twist of Lime taps into a growing flavor, according to Amplify. The lime-flavored popcorn has 50 calories per cup.
Pirate’s Booty Veggie & Fruit Sticks contain a half-cup of vegetables in every serving and are made with corn, navy beans, potatoes, lentils, beets, spinach and kale. The chips are baked and come in Mixed Berry and Sea Salt varieties.
Krave Plant-Based Jerky is made from peas and fava beans and will be Krave’s first departure from meat products.
The vegan snack has 8 grams of protein per serving and comes in Smoked Chipotle and Korean BBQ flavors. A 2.2-ounce bag has a suggested retail price of $5.99.
