SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Country Archer Jerky Co. has hired Jeff Wong, former marketing director for PepsiCo, as vice president of marketing.

Wong will oversee the meat snack company’s new marketing headquarters in Los Angeles. The marketing team will work from an office near Chinatown starting in August, while Country Archer’s meat snack manufacturing facility will continue to operate in San Bernardino.

The move will help keep Country Archer at the forefront of consumer trends, according to the company.

“LA is well-known for its global fusion of flavors and cultures, as well as the hotbed for progressive wellness,” said Eugene Kang, co-founder and CEO of Country Archer. “We’re thrilled to call LA home for our new marketing headquarters, as the culture and community here lend themselves well to driving future innovation and inspiring novel flavors. We’re a bold, high-energy and visionary team, so I’m eager to hit the ground running in LA and see our next phase of growth materialize with Jeff at the marketing helm.”
