MARSHFIELD, Wis. — Meat snack manufacturer Wenzel’s Farm is now making its own beef jerky.

The Marshfield, Wis.-based company is known for its meat sticks, which are made in small, handcrafted batches.

"The addition of beef jerky to our Wenzel's Farm meat snack offering is a major step for the company," said Wenzel's Farm President Mark Vieth. "We have invested a lot of resources to bring this product to market, and I think this new line of great-tasting, all-natural snacks will represent the strengths of our brand well."

The beef jerky has 10 grams of protein and 90 calories per serving. It comes in Original, Teriyaki and Peppered flavors and can be purchased in 3- or 10-ounce packages.

Wenzel’s Farm has been producing meat products in Wisconsin since 1949 using family recipes that have been handed down for generations, according to the company. Wenzel’s Farm sells a variety of meat sticks, including beef, honey ham, teriyaki, spicy, pepperoni, taco and beef with cheddar.

Wenzel’s products are available online on the company's website and at locations such as Mills Fleet Farm, Kwik Trip and Tractor Supply.
