Wonderful Pistachios Adds 2 Flavors

LOS ANGELES — Wonderful Pistachios has introduced two new flavors to its No Shells offerings.

Chili Roasted and Honey Roasted pistachios are geared toward those wanting some heat and those who enjoy something sweet, according to the company. The Chili Roasted variety is made with flavors of red pepper, garlic and vinegar, while the Honey Roasted version is made with honey, sugar and a pinch of salt.

"Snacking in 2019 is all about flavor; it's a key factor considered when we select any type of snack, and we also know that people eat more nuts when they're flavored," said Adam Cooper, senior vice president of Wonderful Pistachios. "Our new flavors of Wonderful Pistachios No Shells will appeal to two distinct flavor fan groups, and they'll both find that delicious snacks can also be good for you."

The flavors are made with non-GMO ingredients and come in 5.5-ounce bags for an SRP of $6.99 and 2.25-ounce bags for $3.29. The product will reach shelves this summer in 55,000 stores nationwide.
