Ascentium Capital Named Finalist for LendIt Awards

Lender among top seven for Top Small Business Lending Platform category

KINGWOOD, Texas -- Ascentium Capital LLC, an equipment and technology financial lending provider, was recently announced as a finalist for the first LendIt industry awards in the Top Small Business Lending Platform category. LendIt bills itself as the largest awards show for lending and financial technology.

The Top Small Business Lending Platform award is given to “the top small business lending platform based on a combination of loan performance, volume, growth, product diversity and responsiveness to stakeholders,” according to LendIt’s website.

The awards ceremony will take place March 7, 2017 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. According to Ascentium’s press release announcing its consideration for the award, the company was chosen as one of seven finalist from hundreds of applicants by more than 30 “industry experts.”

“Ascentium Capital is honored to be recognized as a balance sheet lender with leading technology that serves small businesses,” said the company’s Chief Executive Officer Tom Depping in the press release.

Ascentium Capital provides financing, leasing and small business loans to businesses worldwide and is owned by investment firm Warburg Pincus LLC.
