QuickChek ups the ante on chai with an extra hit of spices in the mix; its Extra Spicy Chai Tea (along with fellow debuts Spiced Chocolate Banana Shake and Mayan Mocha Shake) brings complex flavors to the forefront.
This new entrant would likely appeal to the 27% of 18- to 34-year-old beverage consumers who told Technomic that they’d like to see more beverages with ethnic flavors on the menu.
