BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Boost and Cinnabon have partnered on a new flavor: Boost High Protein Cinnabon Bakery Inspired Flavored Nutritional Drink. This beverage contains the same protein, vitamins and minerals as Boost High Protein Nutritional Drink.
Each 8-ounce serving of the new Boost beverage provides 20 grams of protein and nutrients for:
- Maintaining muscle health.
- Providing energy: 250 nutrient-rich calories with B vitamins to help convert food to energy.
- Supporting immunity with vitamins C & D, zinc, iron and selenium.
- Aiding bone health with calcium and vitamin D.
- Containing vitamins and minerals: 27 vitamins and minerals to help meet daily nutritional needs.

Dave Mikita, president of Focus Brands Global Channels, the company’s licensing division, said they are always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to give customers access to their brands. “We’re looking forward to providing adults with the delicious taste of a Cinnabon cinnamon roll in a new protein-packed, ready-to-drink flavored-beverage format,” he said.
Protein is one of the most important nutrients as people age, although about 44% of adults over 60 do not meet minimum protein requirements, the company said. Protein plays an important role in health in several ways:
- Protein is a critical nutrient to build and preserve muscle.
- Consuming adequate protein and calcium is important for bone health across one’s life.
- Certain amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein, seem to play a role in supporting immune health function.
The new Boost beverage is available in a 6-count of 8-ounce ready-to-drink bottles nationwide.
