PRESTON, Wash. -- After making waves in convenience stores and grocery, Sparkling Ice will bring its flavored-water business to restaurants and beyond through a new partnership with Advantage Waypoint.

Advantage Waypoint will play a key role in the coast-to-coast representation of Sparkling Ice, covering all channels in the foodservice category, including schools, health care, restaurants, corporate campuses and more. The agreement includes representation of the complete Sparkling Ice portfolio, including its base brand of 12 flavored sparkling waters, as well as its sublines, including sparkling lemonades, sparkling teas, and the recently launched essence of sparkling water collection.

"The ability to attract the top broker in the foodservice industry speaks volumes to the success we’re seeing in the foodservice channel, as well as our company as a whole,” said Clayton Lichterman, director of sales, foodservice, for Talking Rain Beverage Co., the Preston, Wash.-based parent company of Sparkling Ice. “We see the foodservice category as a tremendous opportunity to increase brand recognition and volume growth by providing schools, health care, restaurants and the travel industry with new innovations and our better-for-you beverage alternatives beyond traditional CSD, which once dominated the category. With resources across all 50 states, we believe we’ve selected the right partners to assist in our execution, and we look forward to experiencing a similar growth trajectory to what we have seen at retail.”

Advantage Waypoint provides remarkable local market access and a simplified structure to ensure an unparalleled response of go-to market opportunities. The partnership with Advantage Waypoint and its large sales and merchandising force will add value to all of Sparkling Ice’s targeted channels in the ever-evolving foodservice industry.

“We are extremely excited to begin representing such a dynamic company in Talking Rain, which has one of the fastest growing brands in the entire food industry, Sparkling Ice," said Marc Preininger, vice president of business development at Advantage Waypoint. "It is the perfect complement to our Waypoint client portfolio, and we look forward to accelerating Sparkling Ice’s distribution and penetration in every segment of foodservice.”
