BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. — Stewart’s Shops has introduced a new flavor of its private-label Impact Energy drink.

In addition to citrus and sugar-free citrus, a berry-flavored Stewart’s Impact Energy drink is now available. The drink is being sold for $1.29 or two for $2, according to the Ballston Spa, N.Y-based convenience-store chain.

The berry flavor launched in November. Stewart’s Shops expanded the line because it was selling relatively well compared to competing energy drinks, the company said.

“So far the response has been positive and sales have reflected a positive market reaction,” Stewart’s Shops PR Specialist Erica Komoroske said of the new flavor. “We are always looking to offer our customers more options.”

Stewart’s Shops has more than 300 stores and is known in upstate New York and Vermont for its milk, ice cream, coffee and more. It is No. 22 in CSP's 2019 Top 202 ranking of convenience-store chains by number of retail locations.
