Chester opens restaurants in N.Y., Alabama, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Chester's International LLC has opened restaurants inside convenience stores, gas stations and travel plazas in several states.

The convenience channel chicken concept has opened a unit in Caz Mini Mart's newly renovated c-store located in Buffalo, N.Y.'s Riverside Neighborhood, open for lunch and dinner.

Alex Mothanna, Owner of Caz Mini Mart, said he is enthused about the opening of Chester's. "Our customers love our Chester's chicken," he said.

"It was a pleasure working with Mr. Mothanna. Chester's will bring in new customers and keep the previous customers happy. I look forward to seeing the success Chester's will bring to the store," said Steve Gillig, franchise business consultant with Chester's.

Chester's has opened a restaurant inside Creek Travel Plaza in Atmore, Ala., co-branded with Nathan's Famous and 24/7 Diner, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

"We are excited to have Chester's at Creek Travel Plaza and hope that through the Chester's brand we can bring a consistent chicken program that our customers will love," said James Martin, owner of Creek Travel Plaza.

"Chester's is excited to bring a fresh new chicken program to the Atmore area. We look forward to a long lasting relationship with Creek Travel Plaza," said Tyler Franks, franchise business consultant with Chester's.

Also in Alabama, Chester's has opened a restaurant inside the Kwik Sack in Wetumpka, Ala.

"We have been looking forward to the addition of Chester's for a quite some time. I am very happy with Chester's here at Kwik Sack and I know our customers are as well," said Krupesh Patel, Owner of Kwik Sack.

"We look forward to a long lasting relationship with Mr. Patel and the employees of Kwik Sack. It is exciting to open a new fried chicken program in Wetumpka, I know the customers will be pleased," said Franks.

Chester's has opened a restaurant inside an EZ Mart in Bondurant, Iowa.

"We have the best chicken in town," said Manpreet Singh, owner of EZ Mart. This is Singh's second Chester's.

"Congratulations on adding Chester's. This will help you drive sales and increase your traffic growth," Brian Simmons, franchise business consultant with Chester's, said to Singh at the grand opening.

Chester's has opened a unit inside Jassy Plaza convenience store and Shell station; it is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week. It is co-branded with Piccadilly Circus Pizza.

"We are excited to open our second store with Chester's. I'm looking forward to working closely with them to bring our customers the best fresh double dipped chicken in the Indianapolis market," said Jesse Banwait, owner of Jassy's Plaza.

"Chester's is honored to have Jesse and Jassy Plaza, in Indianapolis, as one of our franchisees. We will do everything to help his business to become a success. At Chester's we are driven to help in any way we can," said Kathy Jackson, franchise business consultant of Chester's.

Chester's has opened a restaurant inside D Brothers c-store. D Brothers has two Chester's locations--in the Harrison Township community and the Clinton Township community in Michigan.

The Chester's in Clinton Township opened in March. Amer Assef, the owner, is pleased with how well Chester's has done with its new menu offerings. He shared the results with his brother-in-law Ziad Darhali, and Ziad upgraded his Chester's store in Harrison Township, as well.

"We are very happy to have upgraded from Chester Fried to Chester's," said Ziad Darhali. "Our customers have had a renewed interest in our chicken offering. They love our six sauces and boneless wings."

"We are very excited to be able to assist D Brothers with taking their food service to the next level. Chester's is proud to offer a franchise program that will enable D Brothers to boost sales and maintain a quality product," said Dennis Lesavich, franchise business consultant with Chester's.

And Chester's has announced the opening of Chester Fried of Warren, Mich. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, six days a week.

"We are happy to be partnering with Chester's Chicken to enhance our Gourmet Soul Food presentation in the community of Warren, Mich. We feel this partnership will be super successful," said Brian Wade, owner of Chester Fried of Warren.

Chester's locations typically offer a full menu of bone-in chicken, tenders and boneless wings, as well as a variety of side dishes such as its signature potato wedges, coleslaw and potato salad. Meal options include a choice of six Chester's dipping sauces. Chester's uses only fresh chicken that is specially marinated and double-breaded using a proprietary family recipe and offers bone-in, tenders and potato wedges as well as sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast and sides.
