WALLS, Miss. -- Handy Food Store in Walls, Miss., has opened a Chester's Chicken restaurant, Chester's International LLC has announced.
Chester's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Handy Food Store will be serving Chester's full menu of bone-in chicken, tenders and boneless wings, as well as a variety of side dishes such as their signature potato wedges, macaroni and cheese, fried corn and buttermilk biscuits. It offers a variety of combo and meal options, all served with a choice of one Chester's six signature dipping sauces.
"We are so proud to have the whole line of Chester's menu offerings and branding elements in our store. We are looking forward to the success it will bring," Jay Kalke, owner of Handy Food Store, said.
"I am very excited to open this Chester's in Walls. This has always been a destination stop for great-tasting fried chicken for the Walls community. We know Handy Food Store's current customers as well as new ones will enjoy Chester's," said Marc Bryan, franchise business consultant with Chester's.
Separately, the Texas Cooler convenience store in Stockdale, Texas, in the Eagle Ford Shale region, has opened a Chester's location (pictured).

The Texas Cooler Chester's is offering a full menu of bone-in chicken, tenders and boneless wings. Chester's signature potato wedges, coleslaw, corn on the cob and potato salad are served alongside the chicken, also with the sauces.
"I am thrilled to have Texas Cooler, our newest location in South Texas, in the heart of Eagle Ford Shale. This is our third location in this dynamic oil field," said Dennis Bollinger, area developer for Chester's.
