Chick-fil-A Offers Free Breakfast . . .

. . . but you've got to have a reservation

ATLANTA -- Chick-fil-A is inviting customers to enjoy a complimentary breakfast entree through its "Breakfast on Us" promotion taking place at restaurants nationwide the week of Sept. 9-14.

Beginning Aug. 29, customers can visit www.Chick-fil-AForBreakfast.com to reserve a breakfast entrée of choice, as well as a time to redeem their breakfast item at their local Chick-fil-A restaurant between Sept. 9 and 14. Individual Chick-fil-A restaurants will offer a choice of up to 10 breakfast entrees, including: Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit; Spicy Chicken Biscuit; Sausage Biscuit; Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis (three-count); Chicken, Egg & Cheese Bagel; Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit; Chicken Breakfast Burrito; Sausage Breakfast Burrito; Oatmeal or Yogurt Parfait.

Customers can make reservations Aug. 29 through Sept. 13 or until they are filled. The offer is limited to one free breakfast entrée per customer during the six-day redemption period. Offers and availability may vary at participating locations.

"The breakfast day part continues to be a tremendous growth opportunity for Chick-fil-A," said Steve Robinson, Chick-fil-A's chief marketing officer. "We have steadily focused on maximizing the breakfast day part with a variety of menu enhancements and promotions over the past several years, and we hope our 'Breakfast on Us' promotion will encourage our current customers to try something completely different and also help attract new breakfast customers for us."

Chick-fil-A's entry into the breakfast market came in 1986 when the then mall-based chain expanded outside of shopping centers and began building standalone restaurants that opened for the full breakfast daypart. The chain has built up the breakfast daypart in recent years by diversifying its morning menu with a variety of new breakfast offerings, including breakfast burritos, bagel sandwiches, yogurt parfaits and oatmeal.

Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A Inc. is a family owned and privately held restaurant chain with more than 1,700 restaurants in 38 states and Washington, D.C. Founded by S. Truett Cathy in 1967, Chick-fil-A produced sales of $4.6 billion in 2012.
