OAK BROOK, Ill. -- CSP Information Group, publisher of CSP Daily News and cspnet.com, has announced that free retailer registration is now open for its upcoming Foodservice at Retail Expo (FARE) 2008 tradeshow and conference.

This new event, to be held August 11-13, 2008, at the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center in Schaumburg, Ill., will provide focused foodservice education and a tradeshow featuring foodservice programs, products, technology solutions and services that support this high-growth category. Retailers may now register to receive free admission to the event at its new [image-nocss] website at www.foodserviceatretail.com.

CSP's Foodservice at Retail Expo (FARE) is a multi-channel event targeted to retailers that offer convenient, fresh food to fit the lifestyle of today's consumer. FARE will offer nearly 15 hours of focused educational sessions in addition to a full-day session presented by the American Wholesale Marketers Association on topics of specific interest to the wholesale distributor community. The exhibit floor will feature a full range of suppliers of foodservice products, equipment and technology to multiple channels of retail, including convenience stores, wholesale distributors, colleges & universities, foodservice directors, bookstores, drug chains, airports, military bases, supermarkets and entertainment venues.

The on-the-go foodservice industry is estimated at $161.5 billion and growing by nearly 7% each year.

FARE 's new website features complete access to information on the event, from information on who should attend to details on how suppliers of on-the-go food products and related services, equipment and technology can exhibit at FARE. The site also features an interactive map of the tradeshow floor, which will be continually updated in the weeks and months ahead, to provide attendees with a clear vision of what to expect at FARE.

Attendance is free of charge to all retailers, operators and foodservice directors. Visit www.foodserviceatretail.com to register. Supplier and exhibitor company registration will be made available in the coming weeks. See CSP Daily News for updates on FARE registration, or contact Jane Berzan, vice president, strategic initiatives at (703) 517-4752 or email jberzan@cspnet.com.
