Hey Prestige Man!'

Hall's Culligan Water acquires c-store coffee co.

WICHITA, Kansas -- Hall's Culligan Water, Kansas' largest water treatment company, has acquired Prestige Coffee/Coffee Time, which specializes in coffee and other hot and cold beverage products for businesses, industry, restaurants and convenience stores.

C.R. Hall, president and owner of Hall's Culligan Water, owns and operates 12 Culligan dealerships in five states in the Midwest. The acquisition of Prestige will grow the company's employee count by approximately 45% and add more than 50 trucks to the fleet.

Believing that great [image-nocss] water makes great coffee, the melding of the two companies was an easy decision for Hall. This business is a good strategic fit, Hall said. The customers and employees are first rate, both companies cover similar territories, and the addition of Prestige Coffee service will allow our employees to grow their markets and expand services for existing customers.

This acquisition will result in the addition of expanded services available to all customers served by Hall's Culligan Water and Prestige Coffee/Coffee Time. The menu of Culligan water options includes bottled water, filtered Culligan drinking water, products and services for in-home filtration, water softening systems, and commercial and industrial equipment.

Prestige Coffee/Coffee Time is a coffee service provider for businesses, institutional facilities, c-stores, restaurants and coffee shops; and also offers other hot and cold beverage and food products. The company currently operates depots in Garden City, Great Bend, Liberal, Parsons, Salina, Topeka and Wichita, Kansas; along with depots in Enid, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Okla.; Springfield, Mo.; and Columbus, Neb.
