Lettieri's Taps Hickey as Senior Sales VP

Hot Stuff Foods unit gains former Quaker Oats exec
SHAKOPEE, Minn. -- Jim Ilaria, president and CEO of Hot Stuff Foods and Lettieri's, has announced the appointment of Peter Hickey as senior vice president of sales for its Lettieri's foodservice unit.

Hickey began his career with The Quaker Oats Co., and as national team leader, spearheaded one of the strongest key account teams in the company. PepsiCo brought Hickey in with the acquisition of Quaker, where he held the position of director of sales.

He is coming from Irvine, Calif.-based Advantage Sales & Marketing LLC, a retail merchandising and marketing services [image-nocss] firm, where he led a 23-person customer team.

"Peter is a seasoned executive who brings more than 25 years of experience building successful national customer teams and driving results," said Ilaria, "We are very excited that Peter is bringing that wealth of successful sales management expertise to Lettieri's."

Shakopee, Minn.-based Lettieri's offers a full-line of sandwiches and other foodservice items covering breakfast, lunch, dinner and between-meal dayparts. In addition the company offers extensive advertising and merchandising support including a full line of POP and equipment. Lettieri's products are available through distributors across the United States. The company is a unit of Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Hot Stuff Foods, which franchises and licenses its branded food concepts including Hot Stuff Foods, SmashHits Deli and Hot Stuff Food On the Go in more than 1,400 locations in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
