James Peters, vice president of licensed stores and foodservice for Seattle's Best Coffee, Canada, added, "Through our expanded relationship, we are looking forward to making premium coffee available at more Mac's locations in Ontario."
Mac's Convenience Stores in Ontario will feature several freshly brewed coffee blends, with a fully branded Seattle's Best Coffee program, to include Tazo tea and Fontana syrups.
Stores in Ontario will be converted over the next 24 months.
Seattle's Best Coffee has more than 550 specialty coffee cafes and kiosks in the United States and Canada including an expanding franchising program. Its packaged coffee is available in U.S. and Canadian supermarkets, and its recently introduced ready-to drink iced lattes are available in the western United States. Seattle's Best Coffee is also brewed at more than 15,000 locations such as college campuses, restaurants, hotels, airlines and cruise lines.
Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard currently operates a network of 5,906 c-stores, including 4,128 with motor fuel dispensing, located in 11 large geographic markets, including eight in the United States covering 43 states and three in Canada covering all 10 provinces.
