Nice N Easy Recognized for Pizza

Retailer wins Best of Syracuse 2014 in "Best Gas Station Pizza" category

SYRACUSE, N.Y. --The Syracuse New Times has named convenience store chain Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes' Easy Street Eatery pizza as the Best Gas Station Pizza for the newspaper's 2014 Best of Syracuse feature.

The Best of Syracuse is a reader-generated, seven category online poll. Categories included Metro Living, Sports & Leisure, Love & Sex, Shopping, Food & Drink, Arts & Entertainment and Family.

Nice N Easy's executive chef, Andrew Franco, was the winner of the 2013 FARE Culinary Competition.

The chain offers whole pizzas or pizza by the slice. Varieties include classic cheese, garlic, Buffalo chicken, Bacon Tomato Ranch, 3 Meat Trio, Hawaiian, Meatball, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Northern Italian Chicken, Veggie, Dinosaur BBQ Chicken, Mac N Cheese and Deluxe Six Topping.

And in other company news, Nice N Easy has again announced that it is partnering with The Syracuse Crunch for the upcoming hockey season.
Customers may pick up a coupon at any Nice N Easy location valid for unlimited $18 tickets to any Friday night Syracuse Crunch home game. With each discount ticket a customer purchases at the Crunch box office, he or she will be issued a $5 Nice N Easy Gift Card valid for food, fuel and more at any of the chain's stores.

Canastota, N.Y.-based Nice N Easy operates 33 convenience stores and a dealer network of 44 franchise units. In August, San Antonio-based CST Brands Inc., which operates the Corner Store chain of c-stores in the United States, entered into an agreement to acquire Nice N Easy.
