Quick Chek Donates to Ramsey Ambulance Corps

Retailer also running annual Devils Night Out hockey sweepstakes
RAMSEY, N.J. -- Ramsey, N.J., Quick Chek representatives have presented a donation of $1,234 to members of the Ramsey Ambulance Corps. The donation represents 25 cents for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold during the store's first 30 days in operation following its recent grand opening celebration.

The new store includes a coffee bar, sub shop, soup bar, bakery items made fresh everyday, a no-fee ATM center and 20 fueling stations.

The Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based company also announced that its Devils Night Out Sweepstakes is back by popular demand. The retailer [image-nocss] is celebrating its third year as the official coffee of the New Jersey Devils hockey team.

Beginning February 22, customers are able to submit an essay (200 words or less) at www.qccontest.com, or via a mail-in entry form available at any Quick Chek location, stating why they deserve a "Devils Night Out."

One grand prize winner, along with 10 runners-up, will be chosen to win ultimate Quick Chek/New Jersey Devils prize packages including free Quick Chek coffee.

"We are excited to celebrate our third year as the official coffee of the New Jersey Devils," said John Schaninger, vice president of sales and merchandising, Quick Chek. "Each year thousands enjoy our famed coffee while watching the New Jersey Devils play at the PrudentialCenter, and we're thrilled to offer a chance for our customers to experience all of the action at the team's home arena."
