CSP announces Foodservice at Retail Exchange (FARE) 2010 dates
OAK BROOK, Ill. -- Following the critical success of FARE 2009, CSP Information Grouphas announced that FARE 2010, Foodservice: The Quest for Gold, will be held at the Intercontinental Chicago O'Hare, Rosemont, Ill., June 28-30, 2010.

According to Abbie Westra, executive editor of CSP Information Group's Fare magazine, "FARE is building importance and momentum within the foodservice industry as we strive to be the best and only cross-channel event in the industry. We are extremely pleased with the growth and acceptance of the event."

She added, "Our primary [image-nocss] goal of FARE is to bring nontraditional foodservice retailers together with a unique offer focused exclusively on foodservice for the on-the-go consumer. We focus on three deliverables for FARE attendees: trend translations, information exchange and great ideas for the taking. With this, operators can find success and solutions for their biggest foodservice opportunities and hurdles."

FARE '09 attendees included foodservice executives from convenience stores, airport stores, QSRs, colleges/universities, supermarkets, drug stores, travel centers and the military channels from the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Additionally, FARE brought the distributor community together through CSP's partnership with the American Wholesale Marketers Association (AWMA).

An advisory board representing the primary channels that offer foodservice for the on-the-go consumer will once again provide oversight to the educational sessions and product innovations that will be featured at FARE '10.

According to Kay Segal, CSP's vice president, leadership conferences and events, "98% of the operators that attended FARE '09 plan to attend FARE '10. This is an extremely high percentage, not often seen in the conference and exhibit business, and speaks to the quality of the event and operators' overall interest in growing foodservice in their companies. Also, we are thrilled with additional early operator inquiries from industries such as health care, grocery, college dining and recreation."

FARE, the first multichannel conference for the foodservice at retail industry, brings industry executives together to share best practices, to hear from foodservice experts representing multiple channels and to see the latest foodservice products, programs, equipment and technology solutions in the food pavilion.
