Super Quik Honored by Papa John's

Pizza company names 2011 Franchise Operators of the Year
FLATWOODS, Ky. -- Papa John's International Inc. has announced its 2010 Franchise Operators of the Year, and has awarded convenience/gasoline retailer Super Quik Inc. and president G. Lynn Rice with its Hinkle Award (National Small Group Franchisee of the Year, one to three restaurants).

Super Quik Inc., based in Russell, Ky., operates 15 locations in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia; it operates six Subways, one Mr. Klean Laundromat, one Papa John's Pizza and one car wash.Super Quik received the award from Papa John's founder John Schnatter in recognition of the retailer'ssales [image-nocss] growth, pizza quality, customer service, store operations and restaurant image."This is the highest honor a franchisee can receive and demonstrates Super Quik's desire to deliver on our company's commitment to 'better Ingredients, better pizza' and caring customer service," said Tony Podboy, Midwest Division franchise business director. "This award showcases the focus that has been put towards an excellent restaurant image, great pizza scores and customer service as rated in our Mystery Customer Program."Papa John's also named PJ Sound Pizza LLC, Redmond, Wash., the National Medium Group Franchisee of the Year (four to 10 restaurants).

It named Johncol Inc. LLC, Columbus, Ohio, the Large Group Franchisee of the Year (11 or more restaurants).

And it named PJ Korea, Co. Ltd. International Franchisee of the Year.

Recognized before their peers at the company's recent Annual Operator's Conference, the winners were selected primarily for demonstrating Papa John's commitment to serving a superior-quality pizza, world-class customer service and outstanding community involvement. All four winning franchisees also were recognized for adhering to Papa John's high standards and running successful restaurant operations.

"Our winners have done an outstanding job delivering on our 'Better Ingredients, Better Pizza' brand promise," said John Schnatter, Papa John's founder, chairman and co-CEO. "These franchisees are excellent role models for the entire Papa John's system and it is an honor to recognize their efforts."

Headquartered in Louisville, Ky., Papa John's is the world's third largest pizza company, it said.
