TA Opens Popeyes Site in Washington, Its 48th

And Missouri, Illinois, Ohio Dunkin' locations make even dozen

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands, recently opened a new Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen at its TA-branded travel center located at I-90, Exit 34, in North Bend, Wash.

The TA Seattle East Popeyes is the 48th Popeyes location in the TA and Petro Stopping Centers branded chain.

Guests at the new Popeyes will enjoy Popeyes' full menu, including chicken and shrimp meals and sandwiches, in addition to signature side dishes, sauces and desserts.

The opening of Popeyes at TA Seattle East provides professional drivers and motorists a quick-serve meal option, complementing the full-serve, sit-down Country Pride restaurant at this location.

Founded in 1972 in New Orleans, Popeyes is a leader in the New Orleans segment of the foodservice industry and is the world's second largest quick-service chicken concept based on the number of units. As of Dec. 30, 2012, Popeyes had 2,104 operating restaurants in the United States, three territories and 26 foreign countries.

TA also recently opened three more Dunkin' Donuts Express locations at the Petro Stopping Centers locations at: I-70, Exit 148 in Kingdom City, Mo.; I-70/I-57, Exit 159 in Effingham, Ill.; and I-80, Exit 71/I-280, Exit 1B in Perrysburg, Ohio.

All three Dunkin' Donuts Express locations are open 24 hours a day. The opening of Dunkin' Donuts restaurants at these three locations brings the total number of Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the TA and Petro Stopping Centers network to 12.
