Racetrac offering free Mother's Day mug, spa contest

ATLANTA -- For the second year in a row, RaceTrac will honor Moms by offering its customers a free 22-oz. coffee mug featuring a special Mother's Day design. On May 3, 2008, customers can stop by any of the 242 RaceTrac locations in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Texas and pick up one free Mother's Day mug. Each Mother's Day mug comes with a coupon good for 5 free refills of any variety of RaceTrac coffee or fountain drinks.

In addition to getting a free mug, customers can also visit www.racetrac.com to register to win one of 10 spa [image-nocss] gift certificates for mom.

The contest ends on Wed, May 7, 2008, at midnight to allow delivery of the gift certificates to winners by Mother's Day. Official rules for this contest are posted on the website.

"RaceTrac Moms are some of our very best customers. We know how hard they work taking care of their families everyday, so we want to honor them with a gift we know they will appreciate," said Allison Moran, RaceTrac senior vice president of marketing.

RaceTrac offers seven coffee blends, 14 cappuccino flavors and 30 fountain flavors. Locations also feature fresh sandwiches, fruit, donuts and pastries.

Atlanta-based RaceTrac operates more than 525 locations in 12 southeastern states under the RaceTrac and RaceWay brands. RaceTrac stores, which are all company owned, feature 20 to 24 fueling positions and a 4,000-plus square-foot convenience store with more than 4,000 items.
