CHICAGO -- Winsight LLC’s CSP magazine is now accepting nominations for its 14th annual Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest.
Between now and May 26, CSP is asking both retailers and suppliers to submit their nominations for best new products across the key c-store categories. Up to five submissions can be made by visiting CSPDailyNews.com/BestNewProductsContest.
Eligible submissions include products available in convenience-store formats between Aug. 1, 2016, and May 26, 2017. The products should show innovation, uniqueness and/or groundbreaking advancement. Winners will be announced during the NACS Show in October and featured in the December issue of CSP magazine.
“New products are the lifeblood of the convenience industry. A new product can usher in a trend. It can reveal information about consumers. And, most important, it can drive shoppers into c-stores,” said Abbey Lewis, editor in chief of Convenience Store Products magazine. “CSP’s Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest not only recognizes the most innovative new products on the market, but it’s a barometer of the trends and flavors we can expect throughout the coming year.”
Following the close of the nomination period, finalists will be identified and organized into core subcategories that reflect the year’s product innovation, determined by a panel of CSP and Convenience Store Products editors. C-store retailers will then have a chance to vote on the finalists in each of the categories to determine the winners.
