Inland donates funds to Salvation Army

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. -- Inland Stores and Inland Oil and their customers have contributed $30,000 to the Salvation Army to assist in the organization's efforts to provide relief, support and assistance to the thousands of people whose lives were devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Inland is proud to support the efforts of an organization with the outstanding mission to which the Salvation Army is dedicated. Thousands of customers agreed and contributed almost $6,000 of the $30,000 we are contributing today, the company said in a press statement.

There are many organizations and individuals working to assist the residents of Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, and we applaud all their work. Inland is honored to be a small part of that effort with today's donation, the Bainbridge, Ga.-based company said.
