Eby-Brown Signs with iPrepay

Distributor will leverage self-service kiosks for prepaid

NAPERVILLE, Ill. Convenience store distributor Eby-Brown recently signed a marketing agreement with point-of-sale (POS) technology and distribution firm iPrepay Inc.

iPrepay's interactive self-service touchscreen kiosk offers a variety of prepaid products and services, including prepaid telecommunications and financial products.

Knowing that the sale of prepaid products will reach $290 billion in 2006 and is forecasted to reach $1.3 trillion in the next 10 years, Eby-Brown said that it explored the development of a program that [image-nocss] would allow its customers the best opportunity to capitalize on this growing segment of the business. iPrepay's new interactive self-service touchscreen kiosk program met and exceeded all of Eby-Brown's criteria and expectations, it said.

Our goal is to always find the innovative products and services that will maximize our customer's sales and profitability, and iPrepay offers just what we were looking for. Not only do they have an extraordinary array of products available on one kiosk, but they also will provide our customers with sales support, technology support, account management, merchant services, customer service and marketing support, said Robert Coughlin, vice president of national accounts at Eby-Brown.

In 1998 iPrepay developed our secure proprietary technology, and we continue today to incorporate significant developments in our POS programs that differentiate us from any other provider, said Sean Sztern, president of Miami-based iPrepay.
