Deal to bring combined experience and shorter delivery times

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Equipment manufacturer Forte Products has acquired Charloma Inc. of Cherryvale, Kan.

Charloma is a manufacturer of rotational, injection, thermoforming and fiberglass molding components for the automotive, lawn and garden, RV, packaging, and construction industries. The company operates a 150,000-square-foot facility in Cherryvale, Kan., and a 162,000-square-foot facility in Burlington, Kan.

“We are energized about this acquisition and the timing could not be more perfect for Forte to strengthen its position in the industry with the solid foundation and high ranking that Charloma brings to the table” said Forte CEO Brad Robertson. “The integration of the two companies will provide our existing and potential customers with added value in the form of state-of-the art equipment, supplementary processes, cost-effectiveness and the combined experience and expertise of a professional staff that is committed to drive full-force growth in the business and for the industries we serve.”

Both Forte and Charloma customers will have access to service from any of the combined company’s three manufacturing facilities in the Midwest. Delivery is available to any location in the United States.

Over the course of the next year, Forte Products will review the development and progress of the companies’ synergies and plans to make adjustments throughout the period.

Kansas City, Mo.-based Forte, with manufacturing facilities in Farmington, Mo., is a manufacturer and supplier of roto-molded plastic fixtures and equipment to retail markets such as c-stores, gas stations, grocery, point-of-purchase, foodservice and others.
