GLENDORA, Calif. -- George Robinson, owner of Grand Valero in Glendora, Calif., recently added U-Haul truck and trailer rentals to the gas station he has been operating since January 2009. Separately, Sanjeev Chadha, owner of Port Jeff Getty in Port Jefferson, N.Y., recently added U-Haul truck and trailer rentals to the station he has been operating since August 2010.

Families needing moving services now will have increased convenience. "As part of my business expansion, I decided to offer more services to my customers and U-Haul was the right choice for me," Robinson said.

"Grand Valero is family owned and customers enjoy the benefit of warm, friendly service. On top of making extra money from renting trucks, and selling fuel and market items, Grand Valero is helping the environment and our local community in terms of moving and reducing carbon emissions. It's a win-win situation for all of us, and we plan to make both businesses grow," he added.

"U-Haul is proud to be partnering with a quality independent business such as Grand Valero," exclaimed John Barnett, president of U-Haul Co. of Los Angeles East. "George is a great example of the type of successful business relationship UHaul has established in order to build and maintain a strong network of more than 15,000 independent dealers across North America."

Separately, Chada said, "When I purchased the station, the previous owners suggested that I keep the U-Haul rentals. I definitely made the right decision to keep the extra business."
