Hess Adds PNC ATMs in Florida

Companies donate 100 toy trucks to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation to celebrate deal
NEW YORK -- Hess Corp. has signed an agreement with PNC Bank and Cardtronics Inc. to expand ATM access for PNC customers at 230 Cardtronics-owned ATMs located in Hess Express stores across Florida.

Under terms of the ATM branding deal, Cardtronics will place the PNC brand on the ATMs, operate the machines on behalf of PNC and make them available on a surcharge-free basis to all PNC customers.

By branding ATMs in all 230 Hess Express stores in Florida, PNC will be providing its customers with ready access to cash when and where they need it most. Hess Express is a [image-nocss] leading convenience store chain with more than 1,300 locations spanning the East Coast, from Florida in the south to Massachusetts in the north.

"Cardtronics is proud to expand its relationship with PNC Bank through the value of our ATM branding program," stated Brian Archer, chief marketing officer at Cardtronics. "With their extended hours, great service and prime locations, Hess Express stores provide a perfect venue for PNC-branded ATMs to deliver convenient self-service banking."

The retailer and the bank kicked off the deal Thursday in a presentation at a Hess station in Pompano Beach, Fla. The companies donated 100 Hess miniature toy trucks to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation of Broward County as part of its annual toy drive, added a report in The South Florida Business Journal.
