Ditka to headline Car Wash Show 2012

CHICAGO -- NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka will be the keynote speaker for the International Carwash Association’s Car Wash Show 2012. The world’s largest car-wash convention and trade show will be held May 7–9 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Professionals representing thousands of car-wash locations from across the country and around the world are expected to attend the show, which features more square footage, more exhibitors and more of the latest products and technologies than any other car-wash show, according to ICA.

In addition to the trade show floor, car wash owners, operators and managers will have access to comprehensive educational sessions and in-depth looks at products, solutions and innovations, presented by car-wash suppliers and industry experts. Attendees will also have the chance to network with the large gathering of their peers.

Ditka, who holds three Super Bowl rings from his time as an NFL player (Dallas–Super Bowl VI), assistant coach (Dallas–Super Bowl XII) and coach (Chicago–Super Bowl XX) and who has more recently found success as a commentator and analyst for ESPN, a restaurateur and more, will share the lessons he has learned in a life committed to the fundamentals. He’ll highlight the key characteristics people need to achieve their personal professional goals.

“The Car Wash Show is the best way to learn what’s new in the professional car wash industry, get hands-on experience with a wide array of car-wash equipment and discover key strategies to help your business thrive,” said Eric Wulf, CEO of the International Carwash Association. “And with a dynamic speaker like Mike Ditka, you’re sure to walk away energized and ready to put your knowledge into action.”

The International Carwash Association, Chicago, is the nonprofit trade group representing the retail and supply segments of the professional car-wash and vehicle-care industry across North America and around the globe. It has nearly 2,000 member companies representing more than 15,000 car-wash locations in approximately 20 countries.
