NBC Everywhere Expands Partnership With Fuelcast

Network adds 100 gas stations
SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Fuelcast Media Network Inc., a major pump-top digital network and NBC Everywhere, the out-of-home unit of NBC Universal, have expanded their advertising and content partnership, Fuelcast Network powered by NBC. Fuelcast will bring NBC Universal content to an additional 100 gas stations across the country, making NBC the exclusive content provider and third-party ad sales partner for the entire U.S.-based Fuelcast network. The announcement was made by John McLean, CEO of Fuelcast Network, and Mark French, senior vice president and general manager of NBC Everywhere.[image-nocss]

"With this expansion, we can now offer our national and local advertisers greater reach into the digital out-of-home marketplace and connect them to a hyper-localized and captive audience at the pump," said French.

The "Fuelcast Network powered by NBC" is a consumer-activated, one-to-one experience that offers advertisers measurability. The network features customized loops of advertisements and NBCU programming that are viewed on screens above gasoline pumps, providing an entertaining experience for consumers. This patented technology automatically initiates the NBCU content when consumers lift the pump nozzle, enabling Fuelcast to accurately measure the number of consumer activations each day.

"This consumer-activated content offers our partners and advertisers a powerful platform to convey their message to a highly receptive consumer," added McLean.

The Fuelcast Network powered by NBC can be seen in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego and most recently in Washington, D.C., and Miami. Available in seven of the top U.S. markets as well as Canada, Fuelcast reaches approximately 12 million consumers each month with 6,000 pump-top screens at nearly 600 stations. As an established market leader with aggressive growth continuing into the top 20 DMA's , the Fuelcast Network powered by NBC provides advertisers a national platform to access today's on-the-go consumer.
