NOCO Supports Local Food Bank

Donates $2,000, collected a dime at a time

TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- NOCO Express Stores presented representatives from the Food Bank of Western New York with a donation of $2,126 to help feed those in need this holiday season. From Nov. 14 through Nov. 30, NOCO donated 10 cents from every cup of Nickel City Roast Coffee sold at its 32 locations to the Food Bank.

“This is the second year NOCO has partnered with the Food Bank of Western New York to donate a portion of our Nickel City Roast Coffee sales to help feed those most in need in our community,” said Michael F. Newman, NOCO executive vice president. “Fighting hunger in Western New York is important 365 days a year, but the need is especially great during the holidays.”

The Food Bank of Western New York collects and distributes food to its 400 member agencies in Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties, distributing one million pounds of food per month, assisting 100,000 people in need.

“We are extremely appreciative of this generous donation from NOCO Express and its customers,” said Mike Billoni, marketing and public relations director, Food Bank of WNY. “It will go a long way to helping us with our goal of eradicating hunger.”

NOCO is a family-owned and -operated company headquartered in Tonawanda, N.Y. The company operates 32 NOCO Express convenience stores throughout the Western New York region.
