Pattison Sign Group Signs Up Couche-Tard

Firm will provide signage for Canadian retail network

LAVAL, Quebec -- Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. has signed an agreement with Pattison Sign Group (PSG) for the firm to provide the retailer with signage solutions for its network of stores.

"We chose PSG for several reasons," said Luc Langevin, real estate director of Eastern Canada for Couche-Tard. "With their manufacturing facilities in each of our three respective Canadian regions [East, Central and West], we will obtain solid production and delivery pricing in accordance with our respective volumes…. And [PSG]'s web-based project-management site permits each of us to check on [image-nocss] the project on a regular basis, from any region, at any time of day, all on one…system."

Couche-Tard/Mac's has approximately 2,000 mostly Couch-Tard and Mac's locations in Canada and another 3,000-plus Circle K sites in the United States.

Montreal-based PSG is a major on-premise sign and visual communication company with five manufacturing facilities strategically located throughout North America. It offers a suite of corporate identification products, including illuminated and nonilluminated signs, digital signage, interior and exterior menu boards, wayfinding systems and electronic message centers. It also provides turnkey solutions in the form of design, project management, engineering and R&D, leasing program and customer service support and has an installation network throughout North America.

Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard's retail network is comprised of 5,637 c-stores, 3,434 of which include motor fuel dispensing, located in nine large geographic markets, including six in the United States covering 29 States and three in Canada covering six provinces.
