OTTAWA, Ontario -- Quickie Convenience Stores Corp. has forged a new, three-year partnership with PUDO Inc. to create additional PUDO Point locations across eastern Ontario and Quebec.
PUDO is the "last-mile" delivery solution for parcel pickup and dropoff services. Launched across North America in September, the PUDO Point network allows customers to tailor pickups and dropoffs of their online purchases to fit their busy holiday schedules. PUDO members shop online through PUDO's affiliate portal, and they can use a PUDO Point address for their "not-at-home" deliveries.
This means Canadians can access deliveries at their Quickie convenience store or any other dealer location later in the evening and on weekends.
"This new partnership with Quickie provides Canadians with more options for delivery when they want and where they want," said Frank Coccia, CEO of PUDO Inc., Toronto. "The holidays are quickly approaching and, using PUDO, customers can be sure they don't miss that special parcel delivery."
Chris Wilcox, vice president and general manager of Quickie, said, "We know our customers are busy people with schedules that make traditional shipping options inconvenient. Quickie stores are open later, some even overnight, so becoming a PUDO Point gives our customers more flexibility to pick up their parcels on their own time."
PUDO currently has more than 5,000 PUDO Point dealers signed up across North America. For these dealers, PUDO provides opportunities for additional foot traffic and the potential for repeat customer business. As a delivery solution for e-commerce purchases, PUDO has created affiliate agreements with some of North America's most well-known retailers, including Amazon, eBay, Hudson's Bay and Walmart.
Quickie Convenience Stores is an Ottawa, Ontario-based company with 51 stores located in eastern Ontario and western Quebec.
