The City of Tulsa owns the land where the sign will be built, but will give the land to the company in exchange for QT building the sign, said the report.
QuikTrip asked the city to transfer title of the land to the company to allow reconstruction of a QuikTrip at the site. The new store will replace an existing one nearby.
According [image-nocss] to the agreement with the city cited by the news outlet, QuikTrip will build and maintain the sign as long as the company has a store on the site. The agreement must be approved by the Tulsa city council and the mayor before it becomes final.
