DUXBURY, Mass. -- Independent convenience store/gas station retailer VERC Enterprises, said that its Duxbury Exxon location was named the Sparkle for Spring winner in a regional site appearance contest sponsored by the Cumberland Farms Gas Distribution Division.
The Duxbury Exxon location was selected during a day-long inspection by a management team from Cumberland Farms and lauded for its "best curb appeal and overall appearance."
Of the 10 final qualifiers with the best store appearance in the Northeast Region, five were VERC Enterprise locations. In addition to top prize-taker [image-nocss] Duxbury Exxon, other VERC locations making the list were: Berlin Exxon, Old Route 1 Exxon in Danvers, Lynnfield Exxon and Kingston Gulf.
For its winning appearance, the VERC Enterprises' Duxbury Exxon will receive two Boston Red Sox tickets to an upcoming game against the Chicago White Sox. "Congratulations go out to [manager] Sunny Iqbal and his fine team and to all our locations that made it to the top 10," said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises, headquartered in Duxbury. "In addition to providing the highest caliber customer service, it's rewarding to be recognized for the appearance of our welcoming sites."
VERC has 20 gasoline and c-store locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
