Customers can participate by purchasing a Meals on Wheels "plate" for a $1 donation. The [image-nocss] purchased "plate," which will include the name of each donor, will then be displayed in that store.
The program has collected more than $124,000 for countless meal recipients touched by Meals on Wheels programs.

"We know we can count on our customers to 'Step Up to the Plate' as they have shown their kindness and generosity time and time again in the past."
Meals on Wheels for Western New York prepares and serves approximately 800,000 meals to 3,300 local residents each year. To do so in the most cost-effective way, the organization relies heavily on a volunteer force of about 2,000 individuals.
Buffalo, N.Y.-based Wilson Farms Neighborhood Food Stores currently operates 192 convenience store and gas station locations across the state of New York. The stores offer farm-fresh produce, convenient meal solutions, freshly made sandwiches, gourmet coffee and a selection of other beverages and a line of grocery, frozen and dairy products.
