Baskin-Robbins Camouflages Its Cones

Donating portion of proceeds from ice cream scoops sold on Veterans Day to USO

CANTON, Mass. – On Veterans Day, Baskin-Robbins, the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, will donate 10 cents from each ice cream scoop sold in its U.S. locations to the United Service Organizations (USO), in honor of U.S troops, military families and veterans. Baskin-Robbins will also celebrate the military community all month long with its November Flavor of the Month, First-Class Camouflage.

First Class Camouflage features a combination of chocolate, salty caramel and cake-flavored ice creams, served in a cup or cone or Baskin-Robbins' Camouflage Waffle Cone or Waffle Bowl, which are decorated green, brown and tan.

Customers can also get Baskin-Robbins' First-Class Camouflage Layered Sundae, which includes Oreo cookie pieces, caramel praline topping, hot fudge and is topped off with whipped cream.

"We're excited to honor our military service members and veterans this November through our longstanding partnership with the USO, and hope our guests will join our efforts in supporting the USO on Veterans Day when we will make a donation for every scoop of ice cream sold in our U.S. restaurants to the organization," said Bill Mitchell, president of Baskin-Robbins U.S. and Canada, and Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin-Robbins China, Japan and Korea, who previously served as a captain in the U.S. Army. "We're also looking forward to introducing our November Flavor of the Month, First-Class Camouflage, which celebrates our troops in a fun and unique way."
