Mariani Chooses TNT Marketing

Broker will manage convenience channel for fruit snack firm

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Mariani Packing Co. Inc. has selected national convenience store broker TNT Marketing Inc. to represent its products nationwide.

As Americans seek more nutritious snacking options, dried fruit is a natural fit for the on-the-go consumer. Mariani offers guilt-free, nutritious choices great for lunching and munching.

Perfect for the on-the-go customer, Mariani's c-store packs are single servings of such fruit options as apple chips, tropical pineapple and yogurt-covered raisins.

As the [image-nocss] dried fruit category expands, we are excited to welcome Mariani to the TNT Marketing lineup, said Kennith Fries, TNT Marketing president. Mariani's presence in this category is a wonderful fit for TNT.

We are so pleased to have TNT Marketing as our broker for the c-store category, said Randall Freeman of Mariani. Sales of tropical fruits in the U.S. and in other countries are driving this category, and together, Mariani and TNT Marketing can have a significant impact.
