'Not Your Typical "I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream" Ice Cream Truck'

Dove announces 10-city tour aimed at "adults only"

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -- Mars Chocolate North America has announced the 10 cities that fans selected to receive a visit from the special-edition "Adults Only" Dove Ice Cream Truck, "a fully loaded vehicle designed to help adults relive their childhood ice cream memories in a truly decadent, grownup way."

The Dove Ice Cream Truck will make stops throughout the United States between late June and early August, all of which were chosen exclusively by fans following a nationwide Facebook vote. The Facebook polls are officially closed and the 10 cities that will experience the "Adults Only" Dove Ice Cream Truck are:

  • Detroit (Friday, June 29).
  • Cleveland (Tuesday, July 3).
  • Tampa (Monday, July 9).
  • Boston (Sunday, July 15).
  • Philadelphia (Tuesday, July 17).
  • Chicago (Tuesday, July 24).
  • Minneapolis (Thursday, July 26 and Friday, July 27).
  • Milwaukee (Wednesday, August 1).
  • Indianapolis (Friday, August 3).
  • Cincinnati (Monday, August 6).

The "Adults Only" Dove Ice Cream Truck is not your typical "I scream, you scream, we all scream" ice cream truck, said the company. Gone are the tinny tunes and screaming customers. For those 18 years or older, the "Adults Only" Dove Ice Cream Truck will be stocked with free Dove Ice Cream Bars, including the newest addition to the DoveBAR line, new DoveBAR Mint Swirl Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate.

And at each stop, the vehicle also will feature stress-busting activities--massages by licensed massage therapist, manicures and music--to help adults momentarily escape from their hectic days.

The company will announce exact truck locations in each city closer to the event date.
