East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Fastrac was founded in 1998 through a merger of three companies with long histories in the upstate New York fuel business: Bull Bros. Inc., Clark's Petroleum and Glider Oil Co.
Here's a look at the company’s new location …
All company-owned locations pump unbranded fuel under the Fastrac banner, and 36 locations offer diesel fuel.
The new Fastrac Cafe offers freshly prepared food including pizza, made-to-order or grab-and-go sandwiches, freshly made breakfast sandwiches, egg casseroles, fried chicken and more.
It also features a Fast!Soda fountain and Fast!Freezes frozen beverages.
The store offers options for online and in-store ordering, a drive-thru window for picking up orders or other store products and a bistro-style seating area.
To demonstrate Fastrac Markets' community pride, the walls in the seating area feature a photo collage, designed by Fastrac, of Gates Chili Central School District’s high-school sports teams and marching band.
Music teacher Jeff Welch (above left) and Athletic Director Patrick Irving (above right) attended the ribbon-cutting event.
Officials from the town of Chili and Monroe County attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the 50th store, as well as Fastrac Markets corporate representatives, managers and staff.
In recognition of the milestone, Fastrac contributed $35,000 to the Rochester Habitat for Humanity.
Along with this expansion westward into the Rochester, N.Y., market, Fastrac has also started expanding eastward into the Albany, N.Y., market, preparing to begin construction of a c-store in Queensbury, N.Y.
