Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. has earned the No. 1 spot in the first Better Work Awards presented by jobs and hiring site Indeed. The recognition is based on a major study of work wellbeing and employee insights.

Indeed’s 2023 Better Work Awards, honoring the top 20 companies for work wellbeing in the United States, includes companies with more than 1,000 employees, and at least 200 employees rating their work wellbeing over the past year.

Love’s earned a wellbeing score of 83 out of 100 for the survey period.

Indeed determined the winners of the 2023 Better Work Awards based on employee feedback shared by employees on Indeed across the four key wellbeing indicators between July 2, 2022, and July 1, 2023. To be considered, an employer must have had a minimum of 1,000 employees. Employers must have received at least 200 unique work wellbeing ratings.

Indeed currently lists nearly 7,400 available jobs at Love’s at all levels of the company.

  • Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is No. 14 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

Priscilla Koranteng, Indeed’s chief people officer, said, “Finding the right job today remains challenging. But what we know is that people want to work for an employer that puts them first. Indeed’s Better Work Awards winners stand out from the rest for truly prioritizing work wellbeing.”

Indeed allows job seekers to search millions of jobs in more than 60 countries and 28 languages. Almost 3.5 million employers use Indeed to find and hire new employees, the company said.
