TravelCenters of America is donating $10,000 to Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) in recognition of National Human Trafficking Prevention Month in January. The chain is also training all team members on how to recognize and report human trafficking.

In addition, TA shares information at every site, so those in need know how and where to go for help. TAT posters are prominently displayed in guest-facing areas—not just in January, but every month.

TA encouraged all team members to wear blue on Jan. 11 to help raise awareness of human trafficking.

“As an organization that has nearly 300 travel centers coast to coast, TA is in a unique position to help prevent human trafficking,” said Debi Boffa, CEO of TA. “Our team members are the eyes and ears of the highway. Together, we will work to educate, empower and take action to combat human trafficking.”

  • TravelCenters of America is No. 29 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by company-owned store count.
