Circle K Celebrates Chester's on the Fly Grand Opening

Converse, Ind., site is 15th for Circle K throughout Midwest

CONVERSE, Ind. -- Circle K will hold a grand opening event on October 2 to celebrate a new Chester's Chicken location in Converse, Ind. This location will serve Chester's on the Fly signature menu items--chicken tenders, chicken biscuits, potato wedges and dipping sauce.

Chester's has 15 locations with Circle K throughout the Midwest.

"We are excited to catapult the brand forward through growth with Circle K," said James Venable, vice president of store operations with Chester's International LLC. "The addition of Chester's gives Circle K a differentiation between them and other convenience stores in the area."

Circle K's parent company, Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., has a network of more than 6,100 c-stores throughout North America, including more than 4,500 stores with fuel dispensing. It also has agreements for the supply of motor fuel to approximately 350 sites operated by independent operators. Its North-American network consists of 13 business units, including nine in the United States covering 40 states and the District of Columbia (under the Circle K banner) and four in Canada covering all 10 provinces (under the Couche-Tard and Mac's banner).

Birmingham, Ala.-based Chester's is a leader of quick serve restaurant (QSR) concepts with more than 1,900 Chester Fried licensed and Chester's franchised locations. Chester's Chicken on the Fly offers customers a convenient meal solution requiring minimal investment and little to no labor.
