Grindmaster-Cecilware Announces New VP of Engineering

Foodservice industry vet Avendano joins company

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Grindmaster-Cecilware Corp. has announced that Jose G. Avendano has been appointed as Grindmaster-Cecilware's new vice president of engineering. Avendano will be based in Louisville, Ky., and will be responsible for all aspects of engineering for the company.

Avendano was most recently employed at Crane Merchandising Systems in St. Louis as director of refrigeration and product reliability. He has 30 years of product development, product testing and project management experience, including 20 years of appliance experience with GE Venezuela and Maytag and 10 years of foodservice industry experience with Bunn-O-Matic and Crane.

Michael G. Tinsley, chief executive officer said, "Jose will add considerable capabilities in product development and support, and we're looking forward to his creative and innovative contributions to our product line."
