Krispy Krunchy Launches New Menu Items

Krispy Shrimp, Cajun Style Fish provide new options for Lent, March Madness, beyond

ALEXANDRIA, La. -- In time for Lent, March Madness and beyond, Krispy Krunchy Foods has rolled out two new fish and seafood products to its foodservice program. Krispy Shrimp is an IQF (individually quick frozen) shrimp that is pre-breaded with the signature Krispy Krunchy breading. Cajun Style Fish, meanwhile, is a 2.2-ounce fillet that is also pre-breaded and IQF.

Krispy Shrimp cooks in three minutes at 350 degrees, with a holding time of approximately one hour. A five-piece meal with french fries and a biscuit has a suggested retail price of $4.99 with a gross profit of 56%, while a 10-piece meal has a suggested price of $7.99 with a gross profit of 52%.

Cajun Style Fish meanwhile cooks in six minutes at 350 degrees, also with a one-hour holding time. A three-piece meal with fries and a biscuit has a suggested price of $5.99 with a gross profit of 53%. Showcasing both new items, a seafood platter containing two pieces of Cajun Style Fish, and five pieces of Krispy Shrimp with fries and a biscuit has a suggested price of $8.99 for a gross profit of 58%.
