'Last Great Hamburger Stand' Opens First Gas Station Location

Fatburger looks to N. California for expansion with Livermore nontraditional opening

LIVERMORE, Calif. -- Fatburger, known for its made-to-order burgers, has announced that the opening of its newest location, in a Livermore, Calif., Chevron--its first situated in a gas station--will mark the brand's entrance into the Northern California market.

Fatburger serves 100%, lean beef burgers ranging in size from Small to XXX Large. All burgers are cooked to order and prepared with fresh ingredients. Customers can top their burger creations with a variety of condiments ranging from grilled mushrooms to crispy bacon. To complete the burger experience, fans can enjoy other Fatburger classic menu items such as hand-battered onion rings and hand-scooped milkshakes.

"Through our opening in Livermore, we hope to provide an easy, accessible way for the community to grab their burgers on the go," said CEO of Fatburger, Andy Wiederhorn. "Expanding into areas where there are currently no stores is part of the daily commitment we make to all Fatburger fans. We look forward to re-establishing ourselves in the Northern California market."

Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Fatburger North America Inc. is a fast-casual American restaurant chain serving beef, chicken, turkey and veggieburgers and sandwiches.
