Tedeschi Food Shops Introduces Cuban Sandwich

Continues trend of offering new cuisines

ROCKLAND, Mass. -- Tedeschi Food Shops Inc. has announced the introduction of a new Cuban sandwich to its line of freshly prepared sandwiches. The Cuban is made on a pressed roll and topped with layered ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard.

The Cuban sandwich is part of Tedeschi Food Shops' proprietary line of Tedeschi Fresh Foods sandwiches, subs, wraps, salads and healthy snacks.

"It's critical that we continue to diversify our offering as customers are always developing new tastes and flavors," said director of fresh foods Bob Goodwin.

Established in 1923 in Rockland, Mass., Tedeschi Food Shops is a family-owned and -operated New England convenience store chain with more than $600 million in annual revenue.
