With more than 30 years of experience in the fuel retail industry, Shuck did not make his decision to switch to the Portsmouth, N.H.-based company lightly. "[image-nocss] Whenever I vacation in Maine, I see how well the Irving stations do up there, and everyone I've worked with in the company has been a top of the line professional," Shuck said.
When he heard that Irving was planning on expanding into southern Connecticut, Shuck decided to throw his hat into the ring and be the first to bring Irving to Middletown, he said.
To show appreciation for his longtime customers and let them know that although the look has changed, the service is still the same, Shuck will be holding upcoming customer appreciation events including prize giveaways and a sale on gasoline.
For everyday savings on gasoline, all Shuck Irving stations also offer a year-roundfuel discount program that rewards customers who shop at Shaw's Supermarkets. Customers can use their rewards card to roll back the price they pay at the pump based on the amount they spend on groceries at their local Shaw's.
Harry Hadiaris, general manager of Irving Oil Marketing, is looking forward to having Shuck Petroleum in the Irving family, he said. "Warren has the kind of experience and commitment to customer service that Irving Oil looks for in a partner. We're very pleased to have him representing the Irving brand in Middletown."
With more than 800 fueling locations in New England and Atlantic Canada, Irving Oil is a leader in the Northeast in refining and fuel marketing. Since its founding in 1924 to today, Irving's reputation is based on providing the very best in customer service and products. As regional family-owned company, Irving serves its community by focusing on corporate social responsibility andclean gasoline.
