EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Fastrac Markets LLC, an upstate New York convenience store chain, has announced the promotion of Randy Case to vice president of petroleum. Case joined the Fastrac family in May 2006 as the company's chief information officer.
As CIO, he introduced and implemented numerous programs that improved the reporting of information at all levels for Fastrac, said the company. His most recent accomplishment was the completion of our NCR/POS upgrade.
Over the next several months, Case will transition into his new position taking on the operational oversight of all the company's fuel-related business. He will also manage oversite of various fuel-related relationships and participate in negotiating fuel supply contracts.
Fastrac has begun a strategic search to locate suitably qualified candidates for consideration to fill the open CIO position.
East Syracuse, N.Y.-based Fastrac Markets was founded in 1998 through a merger of three companies with a long and storied heritage in the upstate New York fuel business: Bull Bros. Inc., Clark's Petroleum and Glider Oil Co. The company operates 44 Fastrac Markets and supplies branded motor fuels to marketers throughout the state. All company-owned locations pump nonmajor or unbranded fuel under the Fastrac banner, and 35 locations have diesel fuel.The company employs more than 400 people. It expects to add new locations and jobs in neighborhoods across the state of New York in the coming years, the company said.
