"Empire is pleased to add the dealer network from Keeman to its existing distribution network in Georgia and northern Florida. Empire currently has an extensive distribution network in central and northern Georgia and this acquisition provides an excellent footprint for growth in the southern part of the state," said Michael O'Brien, Empire's vice president of mergers and acquisition. "In addition, Keeman strengthens our brand relationship with two of our key partners in CITGO and Chevron."

He continued, "Keeman Petroleum is well known distributor in South Georgia and Empire welcomes the dealer portfolio into the Empire family."
